Opinions Aren’t Quite Like Assholes

Everyone has a right to their opinion”, yeah, probably. But let’s be honest, most probably shouldn’t. Opinions are shit anyway. I’m struggling to think of anything in this life that is worth less than an opinion. If you don’t agree then think of it like this. A fart does more good for the world than an opinion. For starters, it’s not super crazy to think we’d die without farts. I’m not a fucking doctor so idk, may be we wouldn’t. I literally don’t have enough knowledge to even lean 1% one direction or the other. We can call that a moot start if you like. Farts do bring lots of laughs to this world though. Wtf is better than laughing?…..? 🤷….. The ability to get so much from such a, mostly, harmless act. I know we’ve all had at least one near death fart experience. Whether, it was being trapped in a tin can schoolbus as kids with no way out or wherever you were. You know. The ones where your sense of smell calls for backup. The odor may have got your attention before you realized an unpleasant experience for your smell buds is a pretty miniscule concern to have. The real concern wasn’t until after Smell’s backup pals arrived and convinced you the air from some mutha fuckas ass was taking on a life of its own. You could see the cloud just getting bigger and stronger. You could feel it on you, getting heavier and more kinetic. With no possible exit available, feeling helpless, we all thought we were going to die if we couldn’t get that fn thing off of us. Whether by suffocation or asphyxiation, we were doomed.

I just, somewhat vividly, described an traumatic experience that I’m sure nearly everyone has survived. I can’t think of a better way to remove any mystic or favorable feelings regarding that one fart. You know exactly which one I’m talking about. All that, just so you can see that huge smoggy cloud of poisonous gases benefits our species more than anyone’s GD opinion.

An opinion’s only role seems to be as a tool for those that just want to be heard. So they get loud and bitchy and obnoxious and let their opinions be heard, by golly. You will rarely ever hear or see an opinion be expressed with a calm and civil demeanour. That behavior is typically more associated with perception.

Wouldn’t it be cool if people were as anxious to let their perceptions be known as they are their opinions?
