May 2024 could signify one of the more impactful times in American history. Two very different trials involving to very different people could be the wake up call this country needs. Even though only two people are directly affected by these trials. Every single American could and should see the importance of what these trials represent.
Being apolitical, I’m typically able to see things clearer than those with a political alliance. I’m able to formulate my own independent opinion. I can agree or disagree with either the left or right without repercussions from “my pa-aa-a-rty”.
These trials should expose the delusional sheep in this country. It doesn’t matter what your personal, political, or professional feelings are towards Donald Trump or Karen Read. It doesn’t matter how woke or sleepy nor how progressive or conservative you are. Failing to see the injustices involved with these cases is 100% anti-American. Plain and simple. Fair and equal is what this country is suppose to be about.
In theory: The same people celebrating Trump’s conviction should be on Karen Read’s side. And vice versa. The great thing about these trials is that the corruption is so obvious. It is so blatantly obvious political differences shouldn’t keep the people blind to the fact all of us civilians are in the same boat. We shouldn’t be divided into team conservative & team liberal. Or team black vs team white. If civilians must be divided into teams. Those teams should be team poor vs team rich. But the reality of our country is ultimately team civilian vs team non.
How can the same people, supporting BLM and advocating for the equal and fair treatment of all, be satisfied with Trump’s trial? How can staunch supporters of law enforcement be okay with the charges against Karen Read?
If your ego and pride allows you to be okay with one or the other I must ask. Why do you live in America? You clearly aren’t interested in the ideals this country was founded on. There are plenty of other corrupt countries to choose from. So why live here? Real Americans aren’t interested in living under the umbrella of corruption. That’s why we live here. This country will never be void of corruption if people continue to pick and choose which corruption they are okay with. None. That is the answer real Americans should demand.
